    Claude Masterclass

Novice to confident intermediate in one morning.

A live, hands-on half day that takes you from 'I've typed a few questions into Claude' to genuinely using it as a working partner. We cover what Claude can do, how Projects and co-working actually work, connectors, Skills, MCP, and how to talk to Claude so it gives you something useful first time. Every section ends with a lab — you do the work while we're there to unblock you.

    Thursday 1 October 2026 9:30am – 1:00pm (UK) Live on Zoom Max 50 seats

    What is Claude?

Claude is an AI assistant built by Anthropic — like ChatGPT, but the one a lot of serious operators reach for when the work involves thinking, writing, analysis or long documents. This session teaches you how to set it up so it knows your business, holds context across weeks of work, and saves you real hours.

Your half day, part by part.

Theory in short bursts, then you build. Every part ends with a lab where you apply it to your own work, live, with us in the room to unblock you.

Part 1 · What Claude actually is (and what it can do)

    ~35 min

A plain-English tour of Claude, where it beats other AI tools, and the jobs it's genuinely good at. No jargon, no hype.

    • The Claude interface: chats, Projects, Artifacts and files
    • Where Claude wins — writing, analysis, reasoning, long documents, code
    • The honest limits: what to double-check and what never to paste in

Lab: set Claude up so it already knows who you are and how you write.

Part 2 · Talking to Claude so it gives you the good stuff

    ~45 min

The single biggest difference between people who get generic output and people who get work-ready output is how they brief it. We teach the patterns.

    • The structure of a brief that works: role, context, task, format, constraints
    • Six prompt patterns you'll use every week — and when each one wins
    • Iterating and rescuing a conversation that's gone sideways

Lab: take a real task from your own week and get Claude to a usable draft.

    Part 3 · Co-working with Claude

    ~40 min

Co-working is the shift from asking questions to working alongside Claude on the same piece of work over days and weeks.

    • Projects: giving Claude a permanent memory of your business
    • Artifacts: building documents, tables and tools you can keep editing
    • Working in passes — plan, draft, critique, refine — instead of one big ask

Lab: build a Project for one part of your role and load it with real context.

Part 4 · Connectors, Skills and MCP

    ~50 min

This is the part most people have heard of and nobody can explain. We make it simple, then show you it working.

    • Connectors: plugging Claude into the tools you already use (Drive, calendar, tickets)
    • Skills: packaging your own repeatable process so Claude runs it the same way every time
    • MCP explained without jargon — what it is, why it matters, and when you'd use one

Lab: build a Skill for a task you repeat, and connect Claude to one live source.

    Part 5 · Your system + open Q&A

    ~40 min

We turn the morning into something you'll still be using in three months, then open the floor.

    • Building your personal prompt and Skills library
    • Choosing the right tool for the job — and what to do at work vs. what not to
    • Open Q&A — bring your hardest real-world problems

Lab: your 30-day plan — three tasks you'll hand to Claude next week.

By 1pm, you'll be able to

    • Understand what Claude is, what it does well, and where it doesn't
    • Write briefs that get useful output first time, not on the fifth attempt
    • Run Projects so Claude keeps context about your business between sessions
    • Set up connectors and build your first Skill
    • Explain what an MCP is to a colleague in one sentence
    • Leave with a personal prompt library and a 30-day plan

    What you take away

    • The Day Seven Claude Playbook (PDF)
    • 20+ reusable prompt templates for common business tasks
    • Claude Projects starter pack — marketing, ops and leadership

    • You've used Claude or ChatGPT a bit and know you're scratching the surface
    • You want practical, hands-on learning, not a lecture
    • You'd like to bring AI into your day-to-day work properly

    It's not for you if…

    • You want to become a software engineer
    • You want a passive webinar to have on in the background — this one is participative
