Day Seven Academy · Self-paced AI training
AI training built around your role.
Self-paced courses, a Playground for practice, and Seven, an AI tutor that knows what you do. Every lesson, exercise and answer is set in your work, so what you learn shows up in your job straight away.
Access is by invitation, with a seat for each person in your organisation.
Courses, practice and a tutor, working together
Learn the tool, practise it on work that looks like yours, and have help beside you the whole way.
Courses
Foundation courses for Claude and Microsoft 365 Copilot. Short narrated lessons, real examples, and a task at the end of every module that gets marked.
The Playground
Short exercises set in your own work, as many as you like. Seven marks each one, you improve it, and your skill level moves with the quality of what you write.
Seven, your AI tutor
An agent that sits beside every lesson. It knows your role, explains things again in your terms, and nudges you towards the answer instead of handing it over.
Also coming soon: a community of people in roles like yours, weekly live sessions (recorded), and guides and templates.
Same course. Your job.
The Academy learns what you do before it teaches you anything. The courses, the Playground and Seven all work from that one picture, so every lesson ends with something you can use in your role.
- 1
Tell us your role
Your job, how senior you are, and what you want AI to take off your plate. A short starting-point check shows where you already are.
- 2
Learn it in your context
The explanation is the same for everyone. The scenarios, worked examples and briefs come from work like yours.
- 3
Practise on your own work
Playground exercises and Seven's answers use the same picture of your role, so practice looks like your week.
One exercise, as three different people see it
Marketing and Comms
A marketing manager in FMCG
"A campaign email needs to go out on Thursday and your first attempt with Claude came back sounding like every other brand."
Finance and Procurement
A finance director in professional services
"You need a plain English commentary on the monthly variance pack for a board that does not read spreadsheets."
Operations and Delivery
An operations lead in construction
"A process changed last week and the shift teams need a one page instruction they will actually follow."
From the Claude Essentials module "Your First Great Prompt". The lesson is the same for everyone; the brief is the one your job would hand you.
Foundation courses for the tools you already use
We start where most teams start: Claude and Microsoft 365 Copilot. Each foundation course builds a real understanding of the tool, from how it works to using it on your own work, and every module ends in a task that gets marked. New courses are added as they are finished.
Claude Essentials
From First Chat to Your Own Claude Practice
A self-paced course for small teams with a Claude account and little or no AI background. Ten short modules take you from how Claude actually works, through writing a clear brief and fixing a nearly-right answer, to working with files, projects, artefacts, skills and Cowork, and finally to a 30-day Claude practice for you and a colleague. A capstone proves it.

From Copilot User to AI Builder
A self-paced course for staff who have the standard Microsoft 365 Copilot licence and little or no AI background. Eight short modules take you from what AI is and how to use it safely, through prompting and grounding Copilot in your own files, to Copilot inside Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams, and finally to building your own agents and automations. A capstone proves it.

Watching a lesson is not the same as being able to do it. The Playground gives you as many short exercises as you want, each one set in your own work.
- Exercises are written for your role, so the brief is something you would actually be asked to do.
- Seven marks every answer and gives a reason for each mark. Then you revise it and go again.
- Your level in each skill moves with how well you do, not how often you turn up. It never goes down.
- Core skills, like writing a clear brief, build across every tool you study. New exercises open as you finish modules.
Seven, an AI tutor for every course
Seven sits beside every lesson and every exercise. It knows your role, the module you are on and how you are getting on, so its help is about your work, not AI in general.
- Knows your role
- Starts from your job, your goal and your starting-point check, and remembers what you tell it.
- Grounded in the lesson
- Works from the module in front of you and shows where its answer came from.
- Finds the moment
- Jumps the video to the exact second where the idea you are stuck on is explained.
- Tries your prompt
- Runs what you wrote, looks at what actually came back, and tells you what to change.
- Hints, not answers
- On marked work it nudges you towards the answer, so the mark you get is yours.
- Plays the other side
- In practice scenarios it becomes the supplier, the sceptical director or the colleague you need to persuade.
Seven says so plainly when a question falls outside the course, and it never writes your marked work for you.
Bring the Academy to your team
Academy access is set up for your organisation, with a seat for each person. Tell us about your team and the tools they use, and we will send a proposal. Prefer a live session? Our instructor-led training is available too.
